Roy Clinging is a fine concertina player and singer. He can move effortlessly from a traditional ballad to a shanty or music hall ditty. His programme is peppered with songs from his beloved Cheshire, and his self-penned songs , which sit comfortably alongside the genre, are being picked up and sung by many other artists.
